Course content:
This 3 day dental course will detail
the current surgical and prosthetic concepts in
implant dentistry for achieving optimal and
predictable aesthetic outcomes ranging across
the full spectrum of implant dentistry.
Illustrated by dentistry of exceptional quality,
participants have the opportunity to learn from
a world renowned clinician of outstanding
expertise and experience.
The course is held on 3 consecutive days. The
course will be lecture based involving both
slide and video presentation.
The aim of the course is to provide the
participants with an excellent basis in 'state
of the art' of aesthetic implant
dentistry. The following topics will be
covered in the course:
- Diagnosis & Treatment Planning
- Aesthetics
- Occlusion
- Case Assessment, Treatment Planning &
Case Presentation
- Bone augmentation, grafting and site
development
- Soft tissue management, grafting, connective
tissue grafts
- Current concepts in abutment design and
materials
- Prosthetic management
- Current concepts in crown & bridgework
design and materials
- Plastic periodontal surgery
- Root coverage, crown lengthening and ridge
augmentation
- Single tooth restorations in healed sites
- Single tooth restorations in immediate
extraction sites
- Multiple tooth restoration in healed
sites
- Multiple tooth restoration in immediate
replacement
- Immediate implants
- Immediate provisionalisation
- Immediate loading
- Occlusal management
- Management of complications
After completion of the course, there will be
the possibility to come to Dr Mankoo's practice
to watch 'live' procedures on patients.
